Senior Software Engineer – Frontend-Focused Full-Stack (Remote)

Role overview A senior software engineer role focused on frontend architecture for an administrative console of a secure virtual workspace platform. The position leads UI design and implementation for a React and TypeScript application while remaining fluent enough across backend services to deliver features end-to-end.

Responsibilities - Shape the end-to-end user experience of the admin console, defining interaction patterns and information architecture that turn complex workflows into clear interfaces - Lead frontend architecture decisions including component structure, state management, routing, and build and test tooling, and maintain a shared component library - Deliver features across UI, REST APIs, and backend microservices deployed on Kubernetes - Integrate the console with enterprise identity providers and authorization models, including SSO, session handling, and role-based access control - Build accessible interfaces that meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.x AA expectations - Establish front-end test coverage across unit, component, and end-to-end layers integrated into CI/CD pipelines - Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and influence frontend technical decisions across teams - Provide periodic off-hours on-call support to operations staff

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of professional software development with significant depth in frontend engineering and a track record of architecting scalable enterprise web applications - Expert command of modern frontend development, including state management, data fetching, component composition, and web fundamentals - Working proficiency in at least one backend language, plus understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, container-based delivery, and public cloud platforms - Working knowledge of accessibility standards and secure coding practices, including common web vulnerabilities and identity and access management patterns - Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical work across one or more teams - Must be a US citizen or green card holder

Nice to have - Experience building interfaces for security, identity, or infrastructure management products, particularly for operator and administrator audiences where density, auditability, and error prevention matter - Familiarity with enterprise component libraries and design system practice - Frontend observability experience including error tracking, usage monitoring, and performance budgets
