Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview A senior DevOps engineer is needed to own scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure primarily on AWS. The role centers on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline design, container orchestration, and integrations with public cloud marketplaces. It is a hands-on leadership position for an engineer who enjoys partnering with product teams and embedding best practices into every layer of the stack.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain AWS and multi-cloud architectures following best practices for networking, security, and cost optimization. - Develop, review, and enhance Terraform modules and CI workflows, enforcing Infrastructure as Code best practices and reuse. - Build and operate automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. - Containerize applications with Docker and manage Kubernetes clusters across EKS, GKE, and AKS. - Implement observability and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack. - Embed security and compliance controls into pipelines, collaborate on vulnerability remediation, and package or publish offerings on cloud marketplaces.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles, with 3+ years hands-on with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM. - At least one year of production Terraform experience. - Strong Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) expertise. - Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance, with the ability to work across operating systems.

Nice to have - Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform. - Familiarity with additional IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Pulumi. - Prior work packaging solutions for public cloud marketplaces or partner portals. - Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD. - AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
