Responsibilities - Lead incident response as a hands-on first responder across physical hardware and hosting infrastructure - Inspect and maintain hardware in data centers around the world - Manage a hosting stack that includes standard tooling alongside custom-built components - Ensure the fleet remains healthy and ahead of customer demand - Troubleshoot issues affecting customer workloads running on the platform - Operate effectively within a fully remote team environment
Requirements - Genuine enthusiasm for incident management and first-response engineering - Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting skills under pressure - Experience with data center operations, physical hardware, or hosting infrastructure - Comfort being on call in a visceral, hands-on-keyboard capacity - Ability to parachute into unfamiliar problems and drive them to resolution
