Staff/Senior Trading Technology Engineer

Role overview

Help build and maintain a trading platform that supports digital asset financial products. Working with a small trading technology group, you will own substantial parts of the platform and collaborate with quantitative and trading colleagues to improve execution quality, resilience, and delivery speed.

Responsibilities - Design and implement trading systems that can execute large orders while limiting slippage. - Build high-performance market data pipelines and connect to venues through REST, WebSocket, FIX, or similar protocols. - Work with trading and quantitative teams to deliver strategies and execution logic. - Improve platform availability with fault-tolerant designs and failover mechanisms. - Apply sound engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, and modular design. - Contribute to the platform’s technical direction, development, and ongoing operation.

Requirements - Track record building or supporting trading infrastructure such as market data handlers, algorithmic engines, backtesting systems, or execution platforms. - Strong software engineering fundamentals, including modular design, resilient systems, and disciplined testing and delivery. - Knowledge of financial markets, trading mechanisms, venue protocols, and trading infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with centralized digital asset exchanges and derivatives such as perpetual swaps or deliverable futures. - Understanding of multi-venue order routing, trade reconciliation, and execution quality. - Ability to design for low latency, high throughput, and reliable execution. - Experience with unit, integration, regression, performance, or end-to-end testing, and a strong problem-solving approach.
