Power BI Developer

Role overview

Create and maintain business intelligence reports that help stakeholders turn complex data into useful decisions. The work spans requirements gathering, data preparation and modeling, dashboard design, and the accuracy and upkeep of reporting outputs.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business decision-making. - Gather stakeholder needs and translate them into reporting solutions that can scale. - Develop and tune data models and DAX calculations for performance and usability. - Use Power Query to clean, reshape, and combine information from multiple sources. - Check data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports and datasets. - Create KPIs, drill-through features, and dynamic views that surface actionable insights. - Provide ad hoc analysis and self-service reporting options, and document data sources and report logic.

Requirements - Three to five years of experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards. - Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling skills. - Understanding of visualization principles and ability to design clear, useful dashboards. - Experience connecting SQL databases, APIs, and other data sources to Power BI. - Ability to turn business needs into technical reporting solutions. - Analytical, detail-focused approach and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
