Job details
About this role
Role overview
Join an established creative platform on a contract basis to drive meaningful product work in a complex, well-defined area. The product direction is already set; the focus is on turning that direction into something customers can actually use, taking initiatives from discovery and definition through to launch, measurement, and iteration. It suits a Senior Product Manager who thrives on clarity, sensible trade-offs, and shipping in messy problem spaces.
Responsibilities
- Quickly get up to speed on a complex product area and translate strategic direction into shippable work. - Run initiatives from discovery and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration. - Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to make pragmatic trade-offs and keep work moving. - Spot issues early, bring clarity when things are ambiguous, and operate with minimal oversight. - Use a mix of qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions and improve outcomes post-launch. - Apply AI tools and workflows where they help move work forward faster.
Requirements
- Senior Product Manager experience taking initiatives from an ambiguous starting point through to something shipped, measured, and improved. - Comfort working with engineers and designers, making trade-offs when there is no perfect answer, and knowing when to decide versus when to pull others in. - Strong product judgement, customer empathy, and commercial awareness. - Experience using both qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions. - AI fluency: already using AI as part of how you think and work.
Nice to have
- Experience with generative AI products, AI-enabled experiences, or agent-based systems.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first across Australia or New Zealand, with flexibility to manage work and life. - Work from anywhere policy: apply to work in another location for up to three months per calendar year. - Annual connection budget to meet the team in person. - Study leave and an annual learning and development budget. - Home office allowance and a monthly work-from-home stipend. - Wellbeing assistance program and volunteer leave. - Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers.
