About this role
Role overview
Lead the rollout and ongoing use of enabling technologies across a market, starting with the launch of a surgical navigation system. You will coordinate launch readiness, clinical training, deployment, and adoption, then help extend consistent practices to future digital and robotic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own launch milestones and coordinate readiness across sites, teams, and stakeholders. - Train surgeons, operating room teams, and internal colleagues; provide hands-on support during each site’s first procedures. - Coordinate equipment logistics, site preparation, and operational deployment, serving as the local contact for issues and escalations. - Assess hospital and surgeon readiness, support clinical protocols, and help build relationships with clinical advocates. - Monitor system use after launch, identify barriers to adoption, and support improvements across customer sites. - Work with international technology teams to apply shared standards, report field feedback, and prepare for additional technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, life sciences, or business. - 7–10 years of experience in medical technology, ideally involving surgical technologies, navigation, robotics, or capital equipment. - Track record in product launches, clinical support, or field operations. - Experience coordinating work across functions and stakeholders. - Strong operational execution, structured problem-solving, and ability to manage ambiguity. - Credibility with surgeons and clinical teams, with willingness to work in operating room settings.
