Job details
About this role
Role overview Own and grow a portfolio of established lodging partnerships, acting as the senior relationship lead for hotel chains, property management groups, ownership groups, and selected properties. The focus is on improving the commercial performance and health of current accounts through stronger rates and content, greater activation, and effective coordination across internal teams; the role does not focus on sourcing new supply.
Responsibilities - Develop account plans based on partner performance, business priorities, and revenue opportunities. - Grow consumed direct revenue by improving rate coverage, content depth, activation, and direct share. - Lead executive business reviews, performance discussions, commercial conversations, and escalations. - Diagnose underperformance and agree on evidence-based plans to improve partner outcomes. - Expand existing relationships through additional rates, brands, properties, content, and marketing opportunities. - Coordinate initiatives with Product, Engineering, Pricing, Connectivity, and Operations; support negotiations and renewals, and maintain clear account records and plans.
Requirements - 6+ years in partnerships, account management, or another relationship-led commercial role; an analytical background such as consulting or investment banking is relevant. - Demonstrated ability to manage and grow complex, high-value partnerships independently. - Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including connecting partner activity to revenue outcomes. - Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams with limited oversight. - Credibility and executive presence with senior partner leaders. - Excellent organization, follow-through, project management, and written and verbal communication skills. - A proactive, independent approach and comfort using AI and other modern tools to improve workflows.
Nice to have - Experience in travel, hospitality, lodging, hotel groups, online travel, aggregators, or travel platforms. - Familiarity with lodging distribution, connectivity, and the commercial effects of integrations. - Experience leading executive reviews, commercial negotiations, renewals, or strategic account planning.
Benefits and work setup - Compensation includes base pay and a variable target, with an advertised total on-target earnings range of $160,000–$215,000 USD; equity is offered to all employees. - Work arrangements follow a hybrid-hub model, with roles supported in offices or remotely. Benefits and perks may vary by location and employment type.
