Senior Ruby Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

Build and scale full-stack web products, taking work across the frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on turning prototypes, automation tools, and predictive models into dependable production features, while improving the visibility and performance of automation workflows. You will work with product, data, and engineering colleagues and contribute to a mentoring culture.

Responsibilities - Develop cloud-hosted applications and complete product features across frontend and backend. - Convert prototypes, internal automation, and predictive models into production-ready capabilities. - Maintain availability and responsive performance for backend queues, critical services, and cloud infrastructure. - Create dashboards that help teams monitor automation pipelines. - Use AI-assisted development tools to support implementation, code review, and automated testing. - Collaborate across product, data, and engineering teams and support peer learning.

Requirements - At least three years building full-stack web applications, including API integrations and background processing. - Strong Ruby on Rails experience. - Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript, including Node.js and React. - Practical experience deploying and monitoring scalable applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Exposure to automation systems, RPA, automated agents, or document intelligence, plus experience with AI-assisted development. - Ability to follow HIPAA requirements.

Nice to have - Building AI agents or working with document intelligence APIs. - Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka, or Pub/Sub, and with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD. - Familiarity with prompt engineering, multi-agent workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation.
