Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview Build and operate cloud infrastructure and delivery automation for a remote DevOps role based in Colombia. You will help keep services available and recoverable, make infrastructure repeatable through code, and work with software teams to improve deployment and troubleshooting workflows.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure with attention to service availability and disaster recovery. - Provision infrastructure with Terraform and automate configuration and deployments using Ansible. - Operate containerized applications with Docker and Docker Swarm, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor infrastructure, investigate performance or reliability issues, and coordinate improvements with development teams.

Requirements - 5–7 years of experience in DevOps or a related role. - Practical experience with AWS services, including IAM and the AWS CLI, plus Terraform and Ansible. - Working knowledge of Docker and containerization, CI/CD, Git, and Bitbucket. - Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux administration, WSUS, and TCP/IP networking. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Ability to solve problems independently and communicate and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, SQL Server or PostgreSQL, security controls such as TLS and RBAC, and monitoring or infrastructure troubleshooting tools.
