Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview Own the design and operation of cloud infrastructure for a remote DevOps role based in Brazil. The work spans infrastructure as code, configuration automation, containerized applications, and delivery pipelines, with a focus on availability, disaster recovery, and smoother software releases.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain AWS infrastructure, including practices that support high availability and disaster recovery. - Provision infrastructure with Terraform and automate configuration and deployment tasks with Ansible. - Operate Docker and Docker Swarm workloads and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor infrastructure, diagnose operational issues, and improve performance. - Work with development teams to refine deployment workflows and resolve technical problems.

Requirements - Experience in DevOps or a related engineering role. - Practical skills with AWS, including IAM and the AWS CLI, plus Terraform and Ansible. - Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, Git, and Bitbucket. - Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux administration, Windows Server Update Services, and TCP/IP networking. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Ability to troubleshoot independently and communicate and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ, and basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL. - Understanding of TLS, role-based access control, monitoring tools, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
