Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS for distributed engineering teams. This is a fully remote position based in Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, or Costa Rica, suited to an experienced engineer who can own platform reliability, deployment automation, and production troubleshooting end to end.

Responsibilities - Architect and maintain secure, scalable AWS environments spanning compute, networking, storage, databases, identity, and DNS. - Administer Kubernetes clusters, including workloads, ingress, configuration, secrets management, autoscaling, scheduled jobs, and access controls. - Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support reliable, automated software delivery. - Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, contributing to cloud automation, observability, security hardening, and incident response. - Apply strong Linux and networking fundamentals to diagnose production issues across systems, services, and infrastructure layers. - Support build and deployment processes for .NET and Java applications, troubleshooting runtime and tooling problems.

Requirements - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - Deep hands-on expertise with core AWS services, including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, load balancing, Route 53, S3, RDS/Aurora, and CloudWatch. - Strong Kubernetes administration skills and confident troubleshooting of containerized workloads. - Practical experience with Docker image creation and optimization, plus container registries. - Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, Git workflows, and Bash or Python scripting. - Solid understanding of networking, IAM, secrets management, TLS, and observability practices using CloudWatch or comparable tools. - Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Terragrunt, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. - Experience with PowerShell scripting. - Background operating large-scale or highly available cloud environments. - Hands-on work with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana for monitoring and observability.
