Senior Backend Developer (C#/.NET + Node.js)

Role overview Build and maintain backend services using JavaScript with Node.js and C# with .NET. The work also covers NoSQL data storage, ETL and reporting support, feature delivery with cross-functional teams, and application troubleshooting. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, or Bolivia.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js, C#, and .NET. - Implement and manage MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, supporting data transformation and reporting needs. - Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features, translating technical and business needs. - Diagnose application issues and use test-driven practices to support maintainable, reliable code.

Requirements - At least five years of backend software development experience. - Strong JavaScript and Node.js skills, along with hands-on C# and .NET experience. - Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database. - Knowledge of backend design and service development practices. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and software quality skills, including test-driven development. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Nice to have - Python experience. - Familiarity with ETL processes, reporting tools, and debugging methods.
