Program Manager, Strategic Accounts

Role overview

Own delivery of complex, high-visibility programs for strategic customers, including statewide and multi-district software implementations spanning several products and teams. From kickoff through launch and stabilization, you will align customer and internal stakeholders around clear plans, governance, risks, and outcomes, while improving how large programs are delivered.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end program delivery for strategic accounts, coordinating multiple projects and workstreams through go-live and stabilization. - Build and maintain integrated program plans, status reporting, risk tracking, escalation paths, and executive steering routines. - Identify program-wide risks and dependencies early, resolve issues where possible, and escalate with the right detail when needed. - Partner with sales and account teams to scope engagements and set realistic delivery expectations. - Coordinate with product, engineering, services, and other teams to address cross-project blockers. - Where applicable, manage and mentor project owners or implementation consultants, and improve delivery playbooks, templates, and lessons learned.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. - Ability to manage delivery from planning through launch and post-launch stabilization while keeping outcomes, timelines, and budgets in view. - Strong governance and communication skills, including executive status reporting and customer-facing steering meetings. - Judgment to manage program risks, dependencies, and escalations, communicating candidly with both customers and leadership. - Ability to coordinate across sales, services, product, and engineering and to set practical delivery expectations.

Nice to have - Experience leading statewide or multi-district implementations, ideally involving several software products. - Experience mentoring project or implementation teams and refining program delivery methods.
