Senior Product Manager

Role overview

A senior product leader role within a SaaS organization that is reshaping how it discovers, validates, and ships software. The position pairs strategic ownership of product direction with hands-on work alongside customers, design, and engineering, while carrying responsibility for coaching a small product team and elevating product management practices across the business.

Responsibilities

- Define and own product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution - Run customer discovery to surface unmet needs, market gaps, and business challenges - Collaborate with customers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to test and validate solutions - Shepherd initiatives from early discovery through launch, measurement, and ongoing iteration - Weigh customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and market opportunity when making trade-offs - Lead and develop a team of two Product Owners and one Product Analyst through coaching, mentoring, and career growth - Facilitate product research, experimentation, and rapid prototyping efforts - Present recommendations, business cases, and product strategies to executive audiences - Contribute to maturing product management practices across the organization

Requirements

- Five or more years of product management experience within SaaS or software products - Track record of leading discovery and customer research initiatives - Experience owning product strategy, roadmap development, and prioritization - Demonstrated success shipping products from discovery through launch and iteration - Background mentoring or managing Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, or similar roles - Ability to uncover root customer problems and translate them into product opportunities - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills - Comfort navigating ambiguous or fast-changing environments - Solid business acumen and ability to influence executive stakeholders

Nice to have

- Background in high-growth SaaS environments - Consulting or advisory experience - Familiarity with AI-enabled products, automation platforms, or emerging technologies - Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions and third-party integrations - Exposure to insurance, insurtech, fintech, or other regulated industries - Building products for enterprise customers - Familiarity with customer intelligence, engagement, or voice AI solutions - Helping modernize mature software platforms
