Role overview This Technical Client Success Manager role blends account ownership with hands-on technical support for institutional clients using a digital asset trading and portfolio management platform. The position is remote, based in Hong Kong, and forms part of a global client delivery team providing follow-the-sun coverage across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. The successful candidate acts as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while partnering with sales on growth and participating directly in the APAC support rotation.
Responsibilities - Own a defined book of institutional clients across their full lifecycle, building senior relationships and managing expectations to drive satisfaction, adoption, and retention. - Translate complex client workflows and business objectives into tailored platform configurations and structured technical requirements that feed the product and engineering roadmap. - Partner with APAC sales on prospective client pitches, deliver platform demonstrations, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. - Participate in the APAC support rota, resolving complex technical issues spanning order flow anomalies, market data feeds, and execution exceptions, with clean handover to other regions. - Produce and maintain high-quality support documentation and internal knowledge base content, and continuously improve support workflows and tooling.
Requirements - Two to five years in a client-facing technical role such as technical account manager, client success manager, solutions engineer, or sales engineer, ideally serving institutional customers. - Demonstrated ability to present and demonstrate a platform to senior stakeholders including heads of trading, chief technology officers, and operations leaders. - Working knowledge of APIs, technical integrations, and front-to-back trading system workflows spanning execution, order, and portfolio management systems, market structure, and connectivity. - Familiarity with financial markets and trading workflows, with valuation, risk, or pricing experience viewed as a plus. - Genuine interest in blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and the broader digital asset ecosystem, combined with strong analytical problem-solving and clear communication skills. - Legal right to work in Hong Kong or Singapore and the ability to perform in a high-growth, fast-moving environment.
Nice to have - Existing network within the institutional digital asset community across Asia. - Background at a fintech, crypto trading platform, or blockchain infrastructure provider. - Working knowledge of Python or SQL for basic data analysis, debugging, or system querying. - Experience with customer success platforms, ticketing tools such as Zendesk or Jira, and technical documentation systems. - Business-level Mandarin proficiency. - A degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
