Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Leaning) - CreativeMusic
Job details
About this role
Role overview Build the interfaces that help creators use AI-generated music in a broader creative workflow. You’ll define and deliver product experiences for different needs—from making a song to scoring video or adapting music—while working closely with research as new models become available. The role combines frontend engineering with product judgment and end-to-end ownership in a small, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities - Decide how music creation should fit into creator workflows, then build the experience from initial concept through launch. - Develop complex, production-ready user interfaces, primarily on the frontend, and contribute to backend work as needed. - Design the product so new models can be incorporated as they become available. - Break down ambiguous goals and coordinate delivery with design, research, legal, safety, and growth partners. - Keep stakeholders informed and make practical trade-offs throughout development.
Requirements - Experience shipping complex production interfaces using React and TypeScript or comparable tools. - Ability to contribute on the backend when the product requires it. - Experience taking a loosely defined product from problem framing to launch without a prescriptive backlog or dedicated product manager. - Close collaboration with designers, including work from design tools such as Figma, and considered opinions about user experience. - Ability to coordinate across functions, communicate progress proactively, and make sound decisions when there is no obvious answer. - An approach to architecture that can accommodate changes to the underlying models.
Nice to have - Experience or personal interest in music, audio, or creative tools. - Experience building media interfaces such as audio or video tools, or timeline editors. - Work with machine learning models or research teams.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first across Europe or the US East Coast, with availability aligned to Central European time required. Office options are available in Dublin, London, New York, and Warsaw. - Annual discretionary stipends for professional development, colleague meetups, and coworking for people outside the main hubs. - Annual team gathering.
