Senior Full-stack Software Engineer (Java, Quarkus, Angular)

Role overview Build and improve a financial services platform across backend and frontend systems, with a strong emphasis on Java services and cloud architecture. The work spans microservices, event-driven integrations, reliability, and observability, alongside technical design and delivery with a cross-functional engineering team.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain production backend applications in Java, with attention to performance, resilience, and maintainability. - Build cloud-native microservices using Quarkus and contribute to frontend features in Angular. - Design event-driven integrations using AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. - Improve system reliability and observability through logging, metrics, and distributed tracing. - Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering quality, automation, and delivery improvements. - Use AI-assisted coding tools to support productive, high-quality development, and collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team.

Requirements - Professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus and demonstrated Java proficiency. - Hands-on experience with Quarkus and Angular. - Practical AWS experience, particularly with SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway. - Experience designing microservices and distributed, event-driven cloud applications. - Familiarity with observability practices, including metrics, logs, and tracing. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, using AI-assisted engineering tools, and solving problems independently while collaborating with others.

Nice to have - Reactive programming experience, especially Mutiny or Project Reactor. - Background in financial markets, investment banking, or financial systems. - Experience building highly scalable and resilient cloud applications.
