Role overview
A radar sensor company developing compact solid-state beam-steering systems is hiring a Solutions Engineering Integration Specialist to bridge pre-sales engagement and post-deployment support. The role centers on integrating radar hardware with third-party platforms including command-and-control systems, video management software, and autonomous vehicle stacks. The position combines hands-on customer-facing technical work with internal product feedback loops.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation planning, on-site integration, deployment configuration, and system tuning while providing ongoing technical troubleshooting - Integrate radar sensors with external systems such as C2 platforms, video management systems, and autonomous platforms - Build and maintain training resources, including application notes and user manuals, to scale partner enablement - Analyze post-demonstration data and produce technical reports for prospects and integrators - Gather customer feedback and relay product improvement insights to product managers and engineering teams - Travel up to 50% as needed for customer engagements, deployments, and demonstrations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting field-deployed sensors or hardware - 3+ years in a quota-carrying technical pre-sales or post-sales role - 2+ years working with software APIs - Demonstrated ability to learn technical products quickly and articulate their value to customers - Strong customer-communication skills, able to toggle between high-level overviews and deep technical detail - Physical ability to regularly lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds - Eligibility to handle U.S. export-controlled technology (U.S. citizen, green card holder, or asylee/refugee)
Nice to have
- Experience deploying or operating radar systems, particularly electronically scanned array radar - Linux proficiency and comfort working from a command-line interface - Familiarity with digital signal processing applied to sensor modalities - Networking fundamentals and packet analysis experience (e.g., Wireshark) - Scripting skills in C/C++, Python, or C# - Track record coordinating work across multiple teams and organizations
