Role overview A senior leadership position accountable for shaping and scaling an enterprise-wide AI agenda that delivers measurable productivity, efficiency, and competitive gains. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, applied AI, and organizational capability, translating emerging trends in generative and agentic AI into a clear multi-year roadmap.

Responsibilities - Partner with executive stakeholders to define, refine, and operationalize the enterprise AI strategy, ensuring alignment with company priorities and measurable business outcomes. - Develop a forward-looking perspective on generative AI, agentic systems, and workflow automation, converting market and technology shifts into actionable strategic direction. - Own the enterprise AI roadmap by prioritizing and sequencing initiatives across Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and IT based on value, feasibility, and risk. - Lead portfolio-level build, buy, and partner decisions by evaluating SaaS vendors, platform integrations, and custom-build trade-offs, presenting reasoned recommendations to executive leadership. - Mature and own the AI governance framework, including acceptable use policies, risk tiering, human-in-the-loop thresholds, and decision authority standards. - Define data usage policies, model transparency expectations, and audit standards, partnering with Legal, Risk, Security, Compliance, and Works Council stakeholders to meet privacy, regulatory, security, and labor requirements. - Serve as the senior internal voice on AI ethics, fairness, and accountability.

Requirements - Proven senior leadership experience defining and scaling organization-wide AI or data strategies. - Deep familiarity with generative AI, agentic systems, and workflow automation trends and their enterprise applications. - Experience governing AI systems, including risk assessment, responsible AI practices, and regulatory compliance. - Strong track record partnering with cross-functional executive stakeholders including Legal, Security, and HR. - Ability to evaluate vendor, integration, and build-versus-buy trade-offs at a portfolio level. - Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear executive guidance.
