Senior AI Engineer

Role overview A senior, high-autonomy engineering position focused on shipping production-grade AI systems that connect to real revenue outcomes. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and client delivery: turning ambiguous use cases into agents, retrieval pipelines, and integrations that hold up under live traffic inside environments customers already operate.

Responsibilities - Design and ship agentic AI systems and LLM/RAG pipelines that survive production load. - Integrate AI deeply into customer stacks such as CRMs, data warehouses, e-commerce platforms, and service-ops tools through their real APIs and webhooks. - Build the data foundations and evaluation harnesses that make AI outputs trustworthy and measurable. - Own delivery end to end, from a paid diagnostic through a 30-day pilot to a scaled, monitored system. - Pressure-test proposed use cases honestly, including pushing back when a project is not worth building.

Requirements - 5+ years building and shipping production software, with recent hands-on LLM or agent work. - Practical experience integrating with third-party APIs across CRM, commerce, or data platforms. - Strong opinions on evaluation, observability, and error handling for non-deterministic systems. - Comfort owning ambiguity and talking with customers directly.

Nice to have - Experience with Claude or related tooling, RAG architectures, or agent frameworks in production. - Background in data engineering or MLOps. - Prior agency, consultancy, or startup-founder experience.

Benefits and work setup - Base compensation in the $165k–$210k range plus equity and profit share. - Remote within the US or Canada, full-time. - Interview process includes a paid scoped technical exercise instead of whiteboard trivia.
