Principal Anaplan Solutions Architect

Role overview The Principal Anaplan Solutions Architect leads enterprise planning initiatives, transforming disconnected workflows into scalable, connected planning solutions. The role partners with marketing operations and adjacent business teams to translate strategic objectives into robust Anaplan architecture, with scope expected to grow into additional functions over time. It is a senior, hands-on architecture position suited to someone who can balance deep platform expertise with cross-functional stakeholder leadership.

Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end design and delivery of complex Anaplan planning solutions that address sophisticated business challenges. - Collaborate with cross-functional peers to gather requirements, surface pain points, and propose tailored Anaplan-based approaches. - Build multi-dimensional Anaplan models that optimize processes, expand functionality, and follow platform best practices. - Guide integrations between Anaplan and surrounding systems, safeguarding data accuracy and integrity. - Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to team members and senior stakeholders. - Keep current on new Anaplan features and broader planning trends, feeding insights into both solution design and team capability building.

Requirements - At least four years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Anaplan solutions, with significant solution architecture exposure. - Active Anaplan Certified Model Builder credential; Solution Architect certification is a strong plus. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Advanced proficiency across Anaplan modules, lists, dashboards, complex calculations, and data integrations. - Demonstrated ability to convert complex business requirements into effective, well-structured models. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Strategic mindset, results-driven attitude, and comfort working within Agile project management practices.

Nice to have - Familiarity with complementary EPM tools, data visualization, or business intelligence platforms. - Experience building Anaplan or similar models specifically for marketing budget planning, allocation, and spend forecasting. - Passion for continuous learning and mentoring others.
