Lead Technology Consultant

Role overview

This is a senior consulting position focused on delivering professional services around a unified software intelligence platform that combines observability, continuous runtime application security, and advanced AIOps. The consultant partners with large enterprise customers to modernize cloud operations, deploy monitoring capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor on digital transformation initiatives. The scope spans initial deployment, training, and long-term managed services, with a heavy emphasis on representing the platform as a product expert.

Responsibilities

- Monitor critical application performance and availability in customer environments, summarizing trends in operations status meetings. - Assist client teams with troubleshooting and root-cause diagnosis of performance issues across complex application stacks. - Maintain and enhance dashboards, reports, and monitoring configurations to serve both IT and business stakeholders. - Onboard additional applications for monitoring and mentor customer staff on platform best practices. - Provide regular status updates and project documentation, and support the sales team in identifying expansion opportunities. - Keep the platform deployment healthy, apply service packs as needed, and maintain accurate deployment documentation.

Requirements

- Three or more years of IT experience in application performance management, application monitoring, network or system administration, performance engineering or testing, or Java/.NET development. - At least one year of software engineering experience with object-oriented programming and one year of enterprise-level .NET or Java development, support, or operations. - Working knowledge of web programming, including JavaScript, AJAX, and modern JavaScript frameworks. - Hands-on experience with application technologies such as J2EE, .NET, Citrix, or microservices, plus database technologies like Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL. - A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline. - Strong communication, presentation, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently in a matrixed environment.

Nice to have

- Prior consulting or project management experience. - Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes. - Two or more years of experience with the platform itself, along with a current product certification.
