About this role
Role overview Serve as a senior Enterprise Solution Architect combining infrastructure expertise, automation, coding, and trusted-advisor consulting for large enterprise customers. The role leads the design and implementation of monitoring and observability solutions, with hands-on contribution in code and architecture alongside customer-facing advisory work.
Responsibilities - Lead design and implementation of monitoring solutions through a well-defined, repeatable services engagement model. - Work directly with skilled customer engineering staff across multiple enterprise accounts. - Isolate and help mitigate major performance issues within large-scale environments. - Partner with product engineering teams to articulate functional gaps and improvement opportunities. - Contribute hands-on code in languages such as C#, Java, SQL, Node.js, and JavaScript, and with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform. - Advise customers on cloud architecture, network topology, container platforms, and capacity planning.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree, or 5+ additional years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree. - 5+ years of real-world experience in software and/or solution engineering. - 5+ years leading and consulting within large enterprise or corporate environments. - Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with expertise or certification in at least one. - Solid understanding of network topologies, routing, network security, load balancers, and capacity planning. - Solid understanding of container-based solutions using Kubernetes and similar products.
Nice to have - Prior experience using or managing APM or observability platforms. - Service mesh experience.
