This fully remote (U.S.-based) role focuses on mining large behavioral datasets tied to medical professionals using a major clinical workflow platform. Responsibilities

- Mine extensive behavioral datasets to identify and classify patterns in how medical professionals use the platform - Build both product analytics and client-facing analyses that translate complex data into clear recommendations - Help shape data team strategy by partnering with product leaders and managers, contributing to both planning and execution - Drive data projects end-to-end, from ingestion and exploration through analysis and stakeholder-ready outputs - Collaborate across product, analyst, and engineering functions to scope and lead data initiatives

Requirements

- At least 4 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data scientist - Advanced statistical knowledge spanning exploratory data analysis and probability theory, with exposure to machine learning methods such as regressors and classifiers - Advanced SQL skills working with complex multi-table schemas and data relationships - Proficiency in Python with solid object-oriented programming habits applied to data work - Familiarity with distributed data processing concepts, including column stores and tools like Spark - Strong visualization and storytelling skills for translating analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives - Demonstrated curiosity and passion for data, with the ability to learn quickly
