QA Tester

Role overview

You’ll help assure the quality of software used to organize and manage research data, laboratory inventory, and scheduling. Working with technology, product, and support colleagues, you’ll plan and carry out testing, contribute to test automation, and help make quality an ongoing part of product development.

Responsibilities

- Design, plan, execute, and expand test cases across the product lifecycle. - Help build and extend the team’s automated testing framework. - Test new features and regression scenarios in existing systems. - Record defects with clear reproduction steps and relevant execution details. - Work across departments to track quality and include it throughout product development. - Review testing practices and suggest improvements to processes and products.

Requirements

- A relevant bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least two years of relevant work experience. - Exposure to functional test planning, documentation, and execution. - Familiarity with software quality assurance methods and tools. - Ability to communicate and document software defects clearly. - Familiarity with web accessibility standards and testing tools.
