AI Engineer

Role overview A builder role on a small, high-impact team constructing AI agents capable of completing real end-to-end tasks rather than just answering questions. The focus is on reliability, evaluation, and shipping features that make the agent genuinely useful.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain AI agents that handle real tasks from start to finish. - Work on prompt engineering, context management, and tool integrations. - Develop evaluation systems to track and improve agent performance. - Debug agent failures and iterate on approaches when current ones hit limits. - Ship features alongside product and design teammates, and stay current with new models and techniques.

Requirements - Hands-on experience building LLM-powered products or agents. - Solid understanding of prompting techniques and common agent patterns. - Proficiency in Python. - Track record of shipping AI agents to production. - Comfort debugging unpredictable AI behavior under real-world conditions.

Nice to have - Experience with multi-agent systems or complex tool use. - Background in reinforcement learning or planning. - Open source contributions in AI. - Published writing or research on AI topics.
