About this role
Role overview
Lead product outcomes for a dedicated pod while managing and coaching two experienced Product Managers who each own a pod. This is a hands-on role focused on integrations, customer data architecture, core platform capabilities, and turning workflows into products, alongside customer discovery and some customer-facing experiences. You will also align the group’s strategies and roadmaps, help guide AI adoption across product, design, and engineering, and shape product practices in a small organization undergoing an AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Set product direction and deliver measurable business results for your own pod, balancing operational efficiency, revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction. - Manage and develop two Product Managers, with responsibility for their performance, growth, and career development. - Coordinate strategy across pods, identify shared opportunities or overlapping work, and resolve them through aligned roadmaps. - Lead customer discovery and research, build relationships with customers and stakeholders, and connect product decisions to what you learn. - Partner with design and engineering on integrations, data architecture, platform work, workflow products, and customer-facing experiences. - Help teams apply AI to product and operational problems, communicate strategy clearly, and improve delivery predictability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including senior ownership of a pod or domain with measurable business impact. - 2+ years of AI product experience and 2+ years of formal people management, ideally managing experienced Product Managers. - Strong technical depth in integrations, customer data architecture, platform products, or workflow productization. - Experience conducting customer research and using its findings to guide product choices. - Ability to set and communicate strategy and align executives, business partners, engineers, and product teams. - Track record of coordinating multiple product areas and resolving overlap across teams; interest in remaining primarily hands-on while managing others.
Nice to have
- Experience in a small startup, productizing internal operations, building workflow or integration products, or working in a technology-enabled services business. - Digital marketing or real estate industry knowledge.
Benefits and work setup
- Listed annual pay range: $170,000–$200,000, with a discretionary bonus. - Four-day, 32-hour workweek and work-from-anywhere arrangement. - Benefits include three weeks of paid time off, sick and bereavement leave, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) match, employer-paid medical, dental and vision coverage, wellness reimbursement, financial coaching, and paid parental leave.
