Technical Project Coordinator

Role overview

A healthcare technology organization is hiring a Technical Project Coordinator to support the delivery of healthcare IT and clinical AI projects from kickoff through go-live. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, clinical, and client-facing teams, keeping plans current, communication flowing, and readiness activities on track.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and update project plans, timelines, and resource trackers for assigned healthcare IT and clinical AI initiatives - Monitor progress against milestones, surface risks and bottlenecks, and escalate issues to project leadership - Coordinate go-live readiness activities including pre-launch requirements, testing checkpoints, and operational criteria - Draft and distribute clear status updates and go-live communications to internal teams and external stakeholders - Serve as a central point of contact for project queries and information flow across engineering, clinical, product, and client operations - Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and pre-reads, capture decisions and action items, and follow up with owners through completion - Organize project repositories, templates, agreements, manuals, and reports with consistent version control - Apply established PMO processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms to keep delivery aligned to scope and timelines

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or project management, ideally in healthcare, IT, software development, or biotechnology - Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, or equivalents - Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize discussions into concise, actionable summaries - Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail across multiple overlapping projects - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders

Nice to have

- Progress toward or completion of CAPM, PMP, or a similar project management credential - Experience in an Agile or Scrum software development environment - Familiarity with healthcare compliance, medical imaging, or clinical workflows

Benefits and work setup

The role is remote or hybrid depending on location and may require domestic travel up to 10% to support customer implementations. The salary range is $55,000 to $60,000 USD.
