Senior Designer, Brand Marketing
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior brand designer is needed to help shape and elevate the visual identity of an AI voice technology company's growing brand studio. The role spans the full spectrum of design work, from high-profile event branding and keynote presentations to iterative, production-focused campaign assets, within a collaborative studio environment that prizes craft, judgment, and AI-assisted creativity.
Responsibilities
- Lead creative exploration across event branding, environmental design, keynote decks, data visualizations, and iterative campaign assets - Drive projects from brief through delivery, maintaining momentum, setting milestones, and surfacing risks and blockers early - Translate cross-functional partner goals into design work that aligns with the brand studio's direction - Execute confidently within an evolving design system, brand guidelines, and templates - Recognize when work is new, high-visibility, or precedent-setting and escalate to creative leadership at the right moment - Use AI tools, along with preference testing and other available data, to accelerate exploration, iteration, and production while upholding craft standards
Requirements
- 7+ years in brand, marketing, or communication design, ideally in-house at a fast-growing B2B/SaaS company or in a relevant agency setting - Portfolio showing polished, production-ready work with strong typography, hierarchy, spacing, color, and attention to detail across print and digital - Experience working within and extending design systems and brand guidelines - Sound judgment about when to work independently versus when to seek alignment, with clear, proactive communication about status, decisions, and risks - Proficiency in Figma (including Figma Weave), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects), and presentation software - Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into a design workflow, with a clear sense of where they help and where human craft matters most
Nice to have
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to flag competing demands and trade-offs before they become problems - A collaborative mindset that takes feedback well, incorporates direction accurately, and enjoys parallel creative exploration
Benefits and work setup
The team operates as a collaborative studio where multiple designers may explore the same problem and projects often have several contributors. Success is measured by craft, judgment, reliability, and collaboration rather than by whose individual concept gets picked. Regular check-ins with the design director help keep priorities clear and support ongoing growth.
