Role overview
Build and evolve full-stack products that improve how members engage with financial services and receive support. Depending on team alignment, the work may focus on marketing technology and lifecycle communication or on internal tools, integrations, and member-facing support experiences, including practical applications of AI.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and full-stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript. - Build web and mobile experiences with modern UI technologies such as React and React Native. - Own solutions from technical design through production, making considered trade-offs between immediate delivery and long-term scalability. - Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, Infrastructure, and fellow engineers to turn complex requirements into dependable systems. - Support production quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, monitoring, metrics, and operational follow-through. - Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring, pairing, and sound engineering decisions.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience developing full-stack applications. - Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, together with solid computer science fundamentals and problem-solving ability. - Experience creating user-focused interfaces with a modern framework such as React. - Experience designing, building, and scaling backend services. - Ability to explain system architecture, component design, and the trade-offs behind technical choices. - Experience using monitoring and production metrics to assess system health and performance, along with strong communication skills.
