Senior Data Scientist (German-speaking)

Role overview This senior, customer-facing data scientist position helps enterprise teams adopt and succeed with an AI and machine learning orchestration platform. The role blends hands-on modelling with consulting, training, and enablement, scoping and co-delivering production-grade solutions across a range of industries.

Responsibilities - Lead platform discovery through demos, training sessions, office hours, and ongoing consultative support - Analyze and prototype machine learning applications across diverse industries and use cases - Partner with customer and account teams to shape strategy and drive successful outcomes - Scope and co-develop production data science projects from design through deployment - Mentor customer data scientists and contribute to internal team capability growth

Requirements - Native-level German and fluent English - 5+ years of coding experience with Python, R, or SQL - 5+ years building and shipping machine learning models - Familiarity with cloud architectures, Kubernetes, Spark, and underlying data systems - Ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences - Curiosity, empathy, and a genuine willingness to teach

Nice to have - Prior consulting or customer-facing data science experience - Background in data engineering or MLOps - Web app development with JavaScript, RShiny, or Dash - Experience building APIs and using enterprise data science tools - Comfort with public speaking or formal teaching
