Role overview A senior leadership role running the EMEA arm of a customer-facing AI/ML professional services organization that delivers first-of-a-kind GenAI applications. The position combines people leadership, strategic account ownership, and deep technical engagement to shape how enterprise customers adopt and scale AI on a modern data and AI platform.
Responsibilities - Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and engineering leaders across EMEA - Build executive relationships with VP+ and CIO/CDO-level stakeholders as a trusted advisor during complex AI transformations - Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders on joint account strategy and delivery coordination for strategic customers - Lead AI professional services initiatives, practice development, and standardized delivery processes, including reusable solutions and scalable engagement models - Influence Product, R&D, and go-to-market teams by feeding back voice-of-customer insights and delivery learnings into the product roadmap - Own OKRs for AI-services-led accounts, revenue, utilization, and referenceable customers - Represent the organization externally as a thought leader in AI/ML
Requirements - Extensive experience managing, hiring, and scaling teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and leaders - Track record of building scalable processes and developing other leaders - Ability to scope, sell, and guide complex technical engagements, manage escalations, and ensure successful delivery in enterprise environments - Deep technical background in ML, GenAI, and data science, with curiosity to stay current - Experience leading teams that build production ML solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP - Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives to define program-level goals and align technical vision - Cross-functional leadership experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and go-to-market teams to drive AI/ML business impact - Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research) or equivalent practical experience
