Role overview
Serve as the first point of contact for customers running critical workloads on hosted infrastructure. The role focuses on diagnosing connectivity, performance, and configuration problems across Windows and Linux servers while partnering with infrastructure specialists to resolve complex incidents and improve customer self-service.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot server connectivity, performance, and configuration issues. - Support environments running Windows Server and Linux systems. - Investigate problems involving remote access, secure shell connections, DNS, firewalls, and network ports. - Escalate complex incidents to the infrastructure team with clear technical context. - Document recurring issues and improve support documentation for self-service resolution. - Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in technical support, system administration, or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux, particularly Ubuntu or Debian. - Familiarity with RDP, SSH, DNS, and foundational networking concepts. - Understanding of firewalls and port configuration. - Excellent written English. - Calm, customer-focused communication style.
