DataOps Engineer (Python/AWS/Snowflake)

Role overview

Help stabilize and reshape a large-scale data and AI platform through hands-on engineering and technical leadership. The work combines immediate operational improvements with longer-term platform foundations, using AWS, Snowflake, and Python. You’ll assess existing systems, make and explain architecture choices, and help move the platform toward a more reliable and maintainable state.

Responsibilities - Develop and evolve core components of a data and AI platform built with AWS, Snowflake, and Python. - Take technical ownership of initiatives and recommend structural improvements to existing systems. - Work directly in code and cloud consoles to investigate issues and progressively stabilize the platform. - Contribute to both operational work and the design and implementation of lasting platform foundations. - Explain and justify architecture decisions using independent technical judgment.

Requirements - Senior-level experience in data platforms or DataOps engineering. - Hands-on capability with Python, AWS, and Snowflake. - Ability to work across implementation, operations, and platform design. - Critical thinking to evaluate existing technical choices and propose practical improvements. - Comfort working in an evolving environment where stabilization and redesign happen together.
