Analytics Engineer (SQL/dbt/Snowflake/Python)

Role overview

Build and improve trusted, reusable data products for a large fintech data platform. This senior role spans analytics engineering, data quality, performance, and technical decisions, with opportunities to support automation and new ways of exploring data.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable analytical models using SQL and dbt. - Organize transformations into clear layers and apply dimensional modeling practices. - Improve query and processing performance while managing storage and compute costs. - Use version control, code review, and CI/CD practices to manage data changes. - Add automated tests and quality checks, and improve data monitoring and observability. - Contribute to technical decisions and the development of AI, automation, and generative BI capabilities.

Requirements - Senior experience with SQL, dbt, and cloud analytics architectures. - Strong data modeling and transformation skills. - Ability to build reliable, scalable data products aligned with business needs. - Familiarity with software engineering practices, including Git, code reviews, and CI/CD. - Experience with automated data testing, quality controls, monitoring, or observability.
