Data Science (Price Elasticity)

Role overview

Develop pricing and demand analytics that help a retail and consumer goods business understand how prices and promotions affect sales and profitability. The senior data scientist will take problems from data exploration through production-ready machine learning, translating analytical findings into recommendations for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and actionable insights. - Design, build, and assess predictive models and machine learning algorithms. - Develop pricing models that measure elasticity, cross-product effects, and cannibalization. - Evaluate pricing and promotional strategies. - Work with engineering and product teams to move analytical solutions toward production. - Explain model results and business implications clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements - Senior data science experience developing predictive models and machine learning solutions. - Ability to work with structured and unstructured data. - Experience with pricing or demand analytics, including elasticity, cross-effects, or cannibalization. - Ability to assess pricing and promotion outcomes and communicate recommendations. - English proficiency at B2/C1 level and availability for EST or CST working hours.
