About this role
Role overview A platform-focused DevOps role responsible for building, operating, and improving the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and delivery pipelines that power a managed security services portfolio. The work blends site-reliability engineering with security-first thinking, supporting development and security teams in an Agile setting to keep the platform reliable, hardened, and easy to ship on.
Responsibilities - Operate and improve production Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers, including upgrades, capacity planning, and incident troubleshooting - Build and maintain Helm charts and GitOps-driven deployment workflows - Design, build, and refine CI/CD pipelines alongside development teams - Manage releases across development, staging, and production, including versioning, promotion, and rollback - Provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform - Improve observability through metrics, logging, dashboards, and alerting; manage DNS, certificates, gateways, and routing - Handle secrets, workload identity, SSO, and least-privilege access across the platform - Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in images, dependencies, and infrastructure; participate in on-call rotation
Requirements - 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering supporting production systems - Strong fundamentals in Linux, networking (DNS, TLS, HTTP, routing, load balancing), and service architecture - Hands-on production Kubernetes experience plus comfort with Docker and managed container services - Helm chart authoring and maintenance - GitOps experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or similar - CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable tools - Infrastructure as code with Terraform or equivalent - Solid grasp of cloud compute, networking, IAM, and storage in at least one major provider - Scripting in Bash plus Python or Go; Agile/Scrum team experience
Nice to have - CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS, or HashiCorp certifications - Multi-cloud experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure - Kubernetes Gateway API, Argo Workflows, or KEDA - Vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk or Trivy - Managed observability platforms like Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic - Background in security services, MSSP, or MDR environments
Benefits and work setup Hybrid model with 2–3 days in office. Anticipated pay of $120,000–$140,000.
