About this role
Role overview Own the technical systems behind a company’s public website and help marketing teams deliver digital experiences without needing engineering support for every change. The role also builds and deploys AI agents for marketing use cases, taking work from early prototype through production and feeding real-world learnings back into product development.
Responsibilities - Set the architecture and evolution of the website, content management system, and supporting integrations. - Build and maintain reusable site components in partnership with design and brand teams. - Connect forms, gated content, event tracking, and attribution data to marketing systems. - Develop localization foundations, including locale routing, URL structure, and language metadata. - Implement practical engineering practices and technical work that supports search optimization programs. - Configure, deploy, and improve AI agents; define evaluation methods, safeguards, and human review for prospect-facing use. - Identify platform gaps and build tooling, sharing findings with product and engineering teams.
Requirements - At least 7 years of experience in software, web, AI/ML, or growth engineering. - Full stack capability across application code, APIs, data, and infrastructure, using Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar. - Hands-on familiarity with large language models and a solid understanding of AI agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation. - Ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly and independently define and deliver work. - Comfort serving as the technical lead for a non-engineering team, scoping ambiguous needs and explaining tradeoffs.
Nice to have - Experience owning a marketing website or working with technical SEO and answer-engine optimization. - Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Segment, GA4, or Google Tag Manager.
Benefits and work setup - Salary range of $160,000–$280,000 plus equity, with location-based compensation. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage; flexible paid time off; paid parental leave; and retirement savings plan. - Remote-work setup budget and monthly wellness and communication stipends. Onsite employees receive meals and commuter benefits.
