This senior role shapes the enablement strategy for a technical customer-success organization, helping practitioners turn complex product knowledge into stronger customer adoption, retention, and measurable value. The work sits across technical success, product, customer success, and commercial enablement, with responsibility for building scalable learning programs, practical tools, and proficiency standards for enterprise-facing teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical-success enablement strategy and roadmap, including capability-gap analysis, competency expectations, learning paths, and proficiency standards. - Build scalable onboarding and continuous-learning programs that support practitioners throughout their development. - Translate enterprise software architecture, integrations, implementation patterns, product capabilities, and technical best practices into practical, role-specific training. - Strengthen practitioners’ ability to diagnose customer situations, identify risks and opportunities, and connect technical choices to adoption, business objectives, and value realization. - Develop customer-facing skills such as discovery, executive communication, consultative conversations, stakeholder management, storytelling, objection handling, and influencing without authority. - Create applied learning experiences including assessments, certifications, labs, and practice exercises. - Measure proficiency, behavior change, adoption, and the contribution of enablement programs to technical-success outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in enablement, technical customer success, solutions consulting, professional services, technical account management, solution architecture, or a comparable customer-facing technical field. - Experience designing and leading enablement programs for technical or highly specialized audiences. - Understanding of the behaviors that influence customer adoption, retention, and value realization. - Technical credibility with enterprise software architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, troubleshooting, and complex customer environments. - Strong facilitation, communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management abilities. - Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior leaders and technical experts across functions.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise search, AI-powered digital experiences, relevance, recommendations, personalization, or adjacent technologies. - Background in a customer-facing technical role such as technical account management, customer-success architecture, solutions consulting, or solution architecture. - Experience creating competency models, learning journeys, certifications, assessments, or proficiency-based enablement programs. - Demonstrated ability to turn learning initiatives into measurable behavior change and business impact in a rapidly evolving software or AI environment.
