Senior DevOps Engineer (with Go/Python Development Experience)

Role overview Lead infrastructure and DevOps work across cloud and self-hosted environments, using Go and Python to build automation and improve reliability. You’ll shape scalable systems, strengthen delivery workflows, and partner with development teams to resolve complex operational problems.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage infrastructure across cloud and self-hosted environments. - Develop infrastructure as code and GitOps workflows. - Build Kubernetes operators and other automation using Go and Python. - Lead improvements to CI/CD, deployment processes, and system monitoring, including OpenTelemetry-based observability. - Design resilient architecture and troubleshoot complex infrastructure or application issues. - Set infrastructure practices, collaborate with development teams, and take part in an on-call rotation of about two shifts per month.

Requirements - Strong development experience with Go and Python. - Senior-level DevOps experience managing infrastructure across multiple environments. - Expertise with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices. - Experience with system reliability, monitoring, and OpenTelemetry. - Knowledge of infrastructure security and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have - Experience with microservices, databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis, or messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Familiarity with service meshes such as Envoy, Istio, or Linkerd. - Experience with GitOps, open-source contributions, technical leadership, or mentoring.
