Role overview

This part-time contract role delivers live cybersecurity training inside a large-scale virtual workforce development program. The instructor leads virtual classrooms of 20 to 2,000 learners over Zoom and supporting platforms, driving learning outcomes for programs launching in Q4 2026 with exact schedules to be determined.

Responsibilities

- Lead live virtual instruction for a large classroom of learners using provided cybersecurity content. - Prepare in advance for every assigned live session and contribute curricular input and feedback ahead of each session. - Supplement the core curriculum with additional expertise and resources drawn from the broader cybersecurity community. - Optionally create casework and additional curriculum content for extra compensation, when interested. - Complete required administrative instructor training prior to program launch.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, supported by a degree or strong professional credentials. - Previous teaching experience in a remote environment, or hands-on experience training junior to mid-level cybersecurity talent in group settings. - Degree in a technical field, industry experience in a technical role, or post-graduate research at a top institution. - Working knowledge of the Unix terminal, especially for cybersecurity-related applications. - Familiarity with networking, Kali Linux, endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ certification training, and triage. - Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred. - Fluency in English and Arabic.

- Post-graduate or research experience at a top technical institution. - Background delivering training within registered apprenticeship or large enterprise upskilling programs.
