Junior React Native Developer

Role overview An early-career opportunity to build cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android that are shipped to real users. The position pairs hands-on product development with structured mentorship, ensuring every pull request is reviewed by a senior engineer before it lands.

Responsibilities - Develop screens and features in React Native with TypeScript for production mobile apps. - Wire app screens up to REST APIs and manage local and remote application state. - Reproduce, debug, and fix issues while testing on physical iOS and Android devices. - Submit pull requests, respond to senior engineering feedback, and iterate on submitted code. - Contribute to a small, mobile-focused team that values written coordination and code review.

Requirements - Zero to two years of professional experience, with internships and personal projects counted as relevant background. - Working knowledge of React alongside JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals. - At least one React Native project (published or unpublished) that can be walked through in an interview. - Clear written communication skills, since most team coordination happens asynchronously in text. - Comfort working on both iOS and Android targets from a single codebase.

Nice to have - Hands-on experience with Expo and EAS builds. - Having published an app to the App Store or Google Play. - Familiarity with native modules or with Flutter as a secondary mobile skill.
