Role overview Join a remote Android engineering team building the native experience for an AI-powered neobank application. The focus is on shipping reliable, high-performance mobile features that help real customers manage insurance, payments, and broader financial services from a single Android app.
Responsibilities - Build and ship Android features using Kotlin, with attention to clean code and product quality. - Design mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services. - Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive screens. - Integrate backend REST APIs and ensure mobile flows remain stable, secure, and reliable. - Improve app performance, crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage. - Use analytics, user behavior data, and production incident feedback to iterate on the product. - Explore and build AI-assisted mobile experiences where they genuinely improve the user journey.
Requirements - 3+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin. - Track record of shipping production Android applications to real users. - Strong knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture patterns. - Solid sense of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and end-to-end user flows. - Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues. - Fast execution, high ownership, and strong attention to product quality.
Nice to have - App links, GitHub repos, screenshots, or other examples of shipped Android work. - Experience with on-device inference, TensorFlow Lite, or similar lightweight ML tooling. - Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and SQL/NoSQL data layers.
