Senior Engineer - Information Security

Role overview This is a senior individual-contributor role on an enterprise Information Security team, focused on designing, deploying, and continuously improving the security platforms that protect users, endpoints, identities, systems, and data. The position blends strategic project delivery with day-to-day operational ownership, and partners closely with IT, infrastructure, security operations, identity, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities - Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise security technologies spanning endpoint, identity, data protection, and monitoring domains. - Administer and support platforms such as EDR, SIEM, DLP, identity security, and endpoint protection tooling. - Lead complex security technology deployments from planning and design through operational transition, while managing several concurrent projects. - Serve as a senior escalation point for intricate platform issues and perform advanced troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, cloud, and identity environments. - Evaluate emerging security technologies, drive automation and process improvements, and contribute to security architecture reviews. - Mentor junior engineers, contribute to documentation and best practices, and represent Security Engineering in cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise security technologies. - Hands-on experience implementing and managing EDR, SIEM, and related security tooling, plus enterprise DLP exposure. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity security concepts. - Strong knowledge of Windows security administration for servers and endpoints, with working knowledge of macOS and Linux controls. - Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects end-to-end and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have - Cloud security and modern SaaS security control experience. - Familiarity with security automation and orchestration concepts. - Background supporting security programs in a large enterprise environment. - Agile methodology experience and certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Security+, SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500.
