About this role
Role overview Frontend Software Engineer on the Financial Services & Loyalty team, owning the end-to-end user experience for a consumer credit card, crypto-back rewards, and payment products used by millions of customers. The role spans web and mobile using React and React Native, taking features from technical design through production release in close partnership with product, design, and backend engineering. The work focuses on driving activation, retention, and revenue through fast, reliable, intuitive interfaces.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end frontend development across web and mobile for financial services products, including card onboarding, rewards, transactions, and payment flows. - Build new features that expand the value proposition of the loyalty and card products, shipping high-quality code with direct impact on customer engagement and revenue. - Drive experimentation and funnel optimization efforts that measurably improve conversion, activation, and retention across key user journeys. - Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to translate requirements into polished, performant user experiences. - Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks, contributing to measurable improvements in critical user journey latency and availability SLOs.
Requirements - 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development using React and React Native. - Demonstrated track record of owning features end to end, from technical design through implementation, testing, and production release. - Experience with experimentation frameworks and funnel optimization, with the ability to instrument, measure, and iterate on user-facing flows. - Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver features on time and at high quality. - Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Nice to have - Exposure to financial services, payments, loyalty, or card products is useful given the regulated nature of the surface area.
