About this role
Role overview This role ships the AI features powering customer projects and an internal product platform. You'll work across retrieval pipelines and agent tooling, taking ambiguous requests and turning them into focused, short-cycle deliverables.
Responsibilities - Build AI-powered features using Python or TypeScript. - Implement retrieval pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, and vector search. - Integrate with LLM provider APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic in production contexts. - Scope ambiguous customer requests into 2–3 week deliverables. - Communicate scoping and review work clearly in writing through Slack and Notion.
Requirements - 3+ years of experience shipping production software with Python or TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with at least one LLM provider API beyond toy projects. - Comfort building retrieval pipelines end to end. - Strong written communication skills for async-first collaboration.
Nice to have - Experience fine-tuning or evaluating open-weight models. - Background working with small-business clients in retail, logistics, or services. - Prior Next.js or React experience.
