Senior Data Engineer

Role overview Build and support data flows for a fund administration platform used within a banking environment. The work connects internal, vendor-hosted and third-party systems, moving data on schedules that range from frequent event-based runs to monthly processing. You’ll turn business and technical requirements into dependable pipelines and help keep production integrations accurate and available.

Responsibilities - Design and implement pipelines that transform, validate and map data to business and technical requirements. - Build and maintain integrations across APIs, SQL databases, object storage and SFTP destinations. - Develop and update ETL workflows, synchronizing data across systems and formats. - Test data flows thoroughly to confirm accuracy, integrity and reliable delivery. - Troubleshoot integration issues after deployment and support production processes. - Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and coordinate implementation.

Requirements - Five or more years of professional experience with ETL tools and data engineering processes. - Strong SQL skills and experience with databases and integration workflows. - Commercial experience using Python for data processing and scripting. - Experience designing, developing and maintaining pipelines across multiple sources and destinations. - Advanced written and spoken English for collaboration in an international team. - Careful attention to data quality, with clear communication skills for working with stakeholders at different levels.

Nice to have - Experience with Apache NiFi, Databricks or cloud data storage such as AWS S3.
