DevOps Engineer

Role overview A part-time remote DevOps Engineer position supporting the build and operation of highly available, low-latency infrastructure for an international software development organization. The role blends platform engineering, data pipeline work, and lightweight application development, collaborating with distributed agile teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy reliable, low-latency services and infrastructure that meet performance and availability targets. - Architect and maintain scalable data storage solutions capable of supporting growing operational and analytical workloads. - Develop and operate data processing pipelines alongside the APIs that expose them to internal and external consumers. - Build and refine a web-based interface used to manage and monitor advertising campaigns. - Tune backend code and database queries for speed, testability, and the ability to scale gracefully under load. - Partner with local and international agile development teams, contributing to shared engineering practices and delivery cadence.

Requirements - Demonstrated hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, SSL certificate management, and core AWS services such as EC2 and S3. - Working familiarity with AWS, Azure, Git, and BitBucket as part of day-to-day delivery tooling. - Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure or performance challenges. - Comfort collaborating asynchronously across geographies and time zones in a distributed team setting.

Nice to have - Practical exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a complement to AWS and Azure experience.
