Go Developer - AI & ML

Role overview A fully remote engineering position focused on building artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities within a Kubernetes-first cloud platform. Joining an international team, the engineer will help develop and maintain ML-as-a-service products while strengthening existing AI/ML services that integrate with the broader virtualization stack.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable, efficient Go code powering the ML components of the cloud platform - Safeguard code quality, performance, and reliability through thorough testing and optimization, applying concurrency patterns where appropriate - Translate requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers - Lift team performance through refactoring, clearer documentation, and consistent application of best practices - Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and encouraging a collaborative engineering culture - Stay current with Go language trends, libraries, and tooling while troubleshooting complex technical issues

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience - 4+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in Go - Proven experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes - Demonstrated experience deploying machine learning solutions - Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes Operators - Familiarity with RESTful API design and development principles - Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have - Background working in asynchronous, agile software teams - Experience building and training machine learning models - Familiarity with WebSockets-based application development - 2+ years of experience with Python or R - Comfort with microservices architecture and distributed systems - Exposure to Go web development frameworks such as Gorilla, Gin, or Echo - Prior experience working in fully remote organizations
